Why was the foundations established?
A. The Bradley Johnson Memorial Foundation (BJMF) was established in 2006 as a 501 (c) (3) entity. It is the mission of the Bradley Johnson Memorial Foundation to pursue excellence in golf and in education.

With that goal clearly established, the BJMF serves:

• To provide scholarships to deserving young men and women who are pursuing baccalaureate degrees at accredited colleges and universities.
• To provide financial resources for junior golfers to participate in golf tournaments.

Is my gift tax deductible?
A. Generally, yes. However, the IRS has instituted a gift substantiation rule that requires disclosure if you receive any goods or services in return for your contribution.
